ROGUE FLASHBENDERS
Simply stated, this trio of products are the Gumbys of
light modifiers. Constructed of Cordura nylon with flexible steel rods sandwiched between nylon layers, FlashBenders lie flat for convenient, space-saving storage and
transport. These light modifiers are designed to be used
with most standard-sized shoe mount flashes on or off
camera (FlashBenders fit strobes with a minimum circumference of 7. 75 inches and a maximum of 11 inches).
Attached via an integrated elastic and Velcro strap,
these devices can be shaped to direct and control light
in a myriad of ways, even as a snoot. The trio consists of
a large 10” x 11” reflector; a small 10” x 7” reflector; and
a bendable 5” x 8” bounce card/flag (with a removable
black fabric panel). The matte white surface is spectrally
neutral and reflects about 86 percent of the light and
can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. FlashBenders
are cleverly designed, offer a lot of versatility and work
surprisingly well.
