Miller’s Dream Print
While some of us dream of flying or
fighting robots (like you don’t?), the print
pros at Miller’s dreamt up a new high-resolution printing process using seven
dye-based inks that they claim delivers
an enhanced color range. You can order
a Dream Print in one of five paper types
including high-gloss, metallic, deep
matte, fine-art and luster.

BOOTH: GIF Y Y Y ;#766;
Photo booths are many things, but portable they are not. And
while the filmstrip prints that roll out of your traditional photo
booth are a fun way to memorialize that time you wore a
mustache and top hat, they’re not nearly as shareable as the
output you’ll get from Gifyyy.
The brainchild of wedding photographer Benjamin
Chernivsky, Gifyyy produces that coin of the Internet realm: an
Gifyyy is essentially an iPad holder with an LED ring light.
Using your own iPad (any size) and the Gifyyy app, your
guests can record a short clip that’s automatically uploaded
to the cloud. Guests punch in their phone number and receive
access to the GIF via a link sent by SMS.
When a guest clicks the link, they’re brought to a special
portal that houses all the GIFs created from the event. That
portal can have your personalized branding, reminding
visitors who brought the party. Not only do guests walk away
with shareable clips that can linger on social media long after
they’ve sobered up, but Gifyyy’s owner gets to collect those
numbers as leads from the event.
As Chernivsky notes, the impetus behind creating Gifyyy
was to build something that was extremely simple to use,
portable and that didn’t require an attendant to hover over
during an event. The entire unit packs down quickly into an
included carry case that’s lighter than your gear bag.
