Photographers with strong personalities and great ideas help MORE
magazine reach its stylish and sophisticated female readership.

MORE is a general interest magazine for “women who live in a
constant state of possibility,” its mission statement asserts. MORE also
happens to be a great client for photographers who like to work in a similar state of possibility.
“when photographers work with us we give them enough real estate
and freedom to create something for themselves, not just the magazine,”
says MORE’s photo director, natasha lunn, who joined the magazine a
year and a half ago after stints at T: The New York Times Style Magazine,
The New Yorker and magnum Photos.
MORE’s readership tops 1. 3 million women, the majority of them over

beauty and style to health, wellness, family and careers. “attitude” is one
of the departments regularly listed in the magazine’s table of contents, and their “second acts” stories—featuring women who’ve reinvented themselves with new careers, interests or perspectives—

mariska hargitay, shot by matt Jones. the Patric shaw-photographed cover of the may 2011 issue fea-
turing ashley Judd read: “how the star saved her own life.”
Peggy sirota often shoots covers for MORE. “when Peggy shoots for the magazine you feel like the
subject had a great time, and you want to spend time with that person…they are energetic, upbeat,
but still incredibly elevated. she is always able to get something uniquely personal.”
MORE also works with celebrities rather than models on their fashion pages, which offer emerging
